The faculty of Natural Resources is concerned with understanding, managing and conserving the natural ecosystems. It was established in 1993 and includes three departments. The faculty offers undergraduate majors in Rangeland and watershed management, Fisheries and Environmental sciences. Six postgraduate programs have also provided within the faculty, including Rangeland management PhD, Rangeland management Ms.C., Combating desertification Ms.C, Fisheries Ms.C, Environmental sciences Ms.C and Environmental pollutions Ms.C. The faculty has over 25 staff, 370 undergraduate, 100 postgraduate students. Laboratories within the faculty give the students the opportunity to learn spatial information and analysis, soil and water interactions, botany, wildlife research techniques, pollutant analyses and fisheries and so on.
